no need for any upgrade just do mp9 instead of mp10, blizzard gonna nerf boobarian in a couple months so no point spending coin upgrading bars. after u get to lvl 100 sell everything

Invest in a decent mempo and a pair of ice climbers. If you are going ww with a skorn, you probably want some str. Inna's pants too - those a pretty cheap now. On the mempo, look for 200+ str, 70+ vita. With your budget, you could get something like 200+ str, 90 vita, no frw ice climbers along with the other two pieces. Anything left over, roll up your gems a bit.

Anyone have ideas on how to easily convert this barb style build into a HOTA build that'd be good for running vault of the ancients?

Barb is shit in vota, hard to keep wotb up, even with 2 aps. You need this weapon throw dual wield thing, like this:
