They wouldn't be able to charge if they didnt charge for Diablo 1-2-LOD. It would be fucked up anyways.

You say they wouldn't be able to support the game, alright say 1million people in the united states buy the game for say $80.00-$100.00 EACH.

o no, they dont have enough money to support the game, o lets see. There is what......500million+ People in the united states who have there eyes on this game? Also, cannot leave out the point of everybody using there servers they also get Money back from them per person online!!! ALSO WOW IS BRINGING IN MORE MONEY PER MONTH.

Its a new generation and a lot better software they are dealing with now days. The main reason they couldn't remove hacks/spammers/ect. is because they didn't have the correct software to do that!!!!!!!!

Computers are not that old, also considering programing is still evolving and I believe when someone uses it, USE THE REPORT SYSTEM THEY ARE INCLUDING ON THE GAME. Instant picture/video and there banned.

They do not deal with hackers/homos like most people now days. They ban or your going to have to spend more money on the game and if you do it again (O look, REPORT) banned again.

Also good thing is now days there are not cd-keys. Its actually built into a file. Good luck generating keys.

You PAY each month for a GAME that is for sure more attractive then many other games, lets take World of warcraft as an suggestion.
Wow just reached 12 million subscribers or something.

You know how much money from the acctuly money that blizzard gets, that goes back to the game?
for example. all the servers ?
Their ISP's
Their programmers that in the meentime we play adds something, in wow instances, items fix buggs etc.
and they can do all this DUE TO That we PAY for game.
That is why you pay for a game, its couse you KNOW that you pay for a game that you for the first part want to play, and for the second part, you know they improve it all the time, building it bigger and bigger.

Kinda thats why you pay for a game, I've payed for over 5 years on WOW. with maximum of 4 months not subscribing. and I never ever and will never ever feel like those money I tossed to them, was in vain, becouse they always gives back.

Okey sure with World of warcraft they kinda are abit to much money addicted, due to all the mounts pets TGC cards etc. they sell


and alot of people used the pay 2 play thing from wow as a excuse to not play it, i wanted to play wow before i knew it was p2p but now that i know that im not gonna think bout playing it

P2P is retarded. Half the appeal of D2 is being able to quit for three years, and then re-install it and keep playing with no problem whenever you feel like it.
They'd lose most, if not all of their casual gamers by adding any fee to it.
Batlte.net should always be free. If you wanna P2P game, then obv go play WoW.
D1 was free. D2 was free. D3 will be free, and hopefully in 20 years D4 will be free.
If it aint free, it aint Diablo.
