gloves with 9 ias. Storm Crow is a must, you can't play with 10 apoc, it's just absurd. All res/+armor witching hour. Maybe apoc Chantodo's off-hand if you got enough gold for previous upgrades.

The DPS shown is a bit unfair...with buffs and glass cannon im just shy of 100k...which I know still isn't much. Archon wiz BTW.

google cdxliv budget arcon wizard guide and gear up a proper cheap arcon for 15 millions. Yours look like it's just stepped from time machine having returned from July 2012

How do you handle realm of turmoil on high mp? I can't seem to get them both frozen on mp10, Kulle's slow time or seigebreaker's ceiling collapse always seem to get me. 2.79aps, I'm lucky if I can get them both frozen once much less keep them way. Is this just a positioning issue or something else?

edit: turns out it was just positioning, at that aps I'm not quite perma freeze but it was enough to keep them from hitting me once I got the position right. 8 minutes and some sore fingers later I got through the last of their enormous hp <3. Now for the final batch; realm of turmoil.

Bah couldn't do it, maghda's flies and arcane owwy. Here again couldn't quite keep them frozen, I thought 2.74 was the perma freeze breakpoint, is it 3?

Post your profile. Reaching 2,74 breakpoint isn't enough if you got low cc or if you lack defense/life on hit. I usually do 3,003 aps setup for soloing ubers (but I almost never solo), for that I switch to Time Stretch. Everybody is quite easy with my wizard http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Mad1Lee-2243/hero/195500 but Magda and Skeleton King. Just because of them it's better to use Crystal Shell instead of Diamond Shards. Also you gotta move around a lot, you can't perma-freeze them with any wizard, you need to dodge lasers (run against them so you take less damage, don't stand still and let them burn through your diamond skin and health pool), watch out for swarms when in bubble and be ready to move away from SK's moonwalk. Also it's best to always stick to Magda and freeze her as much as possible, SK will join you anyway, however, if you concetrate on SK, Magda will just kite and fuck you up pretty quickly with her spells. Just focus more, avoid tight spots, better kite some and wait for arcane sentry to stop or whatever.

And use Cold Snap + Evocation unless you got like 57+ cc, don't use other Frost Novas rune. You will need all apoc you can get too.

Well I have been gone a long time...its very outdated. That weapon I originally paid like 20 mil for. I'm pretty pissed off to see that you can buy things like it for 50-100k now. That was a 100+mil wiz.

How much Apoc need a Cm?

i got atm 29 it's fine

but i want to know i would work with 19/20 apoc then i would change some gear...

I use 20 apoc with 2,74 aps, and it works well.
