after 1 tick the 75% boost disappears. maybe it's slightly useful if you use archon explosion but other than that it's pointless.

it's not just the icon that disappears im definitely not getting 75% more damage.

thought so. would be too good to be true.

just lost a bid on some pants that would've given me 66(112k buffed) ehp. went from 100m to 200m (30 minutes) to 475 (30 seconds) T_T

Thanks for the input, so next pieces should be armor/pants/boots with int+vit+ar. Not including shoulders atm since buying a vileward would mostly upg my dps and not EHP.
Would you reccomend getting zunimassas marrow or its more expesnive than a rare one?
Seems cheaper to get a rare one with higher vit than the most Zunimassas.

I would avoid Zuni Chest purely because it isnt as good as Tal Chest for wizards and also the price of legendaries will go down over time as more are found. Upto you though - these points may not concern you so much

Why would the tal chest be a better choice? For future set bonuses or?
But as it is now i need to stack My resists so i suppose ill start off with the pants and boots then.

its true that tal armor can be better than a zunimassa however you need 6 really good rolls on that to beat a mediocre zunimassa (expensive as fuck).
atm I would still prefer zunimmasa armor, easy to get 200+vita,150+int,70+res + random roll. together with the boots, which you should get anyway, you will get another 130int from the set. with a good zunimassa ring(critchance roll) you will get 55res aswell.
up to you if you think 8-9ias > 130int+55res.

aslong as you buy a good zunimassa armor, they wont drop in price that soon. only lower end items will become cheap. good ones will keep their price or will get more expensive over the time.

I think alot of people just overestimate raw dps numbers, even on glasscannon builds like the archon one. a good amount of life/res/armor is more important for proper killspeed than most people think, as long as you already have a decent amount of dps.
running around, avoiding projeticles and enemies becouse you leck res/armor just decreases your killspeed and will get you killed in pvp anyway.

just my 2cents.

1) you're comparing one piece with 3 pieces
2) you have 50% chance of getting high int roll. and then there are 2 random rolls. 6? lol.
3) you have to balance dps and ehp. 9% asi & loh or ll may > zunis. there is literally nothing zuni chests can roll that tals cannot roll.

I just compared 2-3 pieces becouse I bet most of the better wizards use zunimassa boots for the 8% psn dmg anyway, so the 130int setbonus is an argument.

Like I said, I know that the tal armor CAN be better than a zunimassa armor but in order to beat that armor every roll and random roll has the be usefull and high.(thats what I ment with 6 rolls)
Iam talking about 150int,200+vita,70+res tal armors, an armor without high vita and/or high res is useless imho.

I just checked the ah for good tal arm and guess what, not a single one had more than 100vita and 70 res. A good zunimassa can still roll vita% on top of the 200int,300vita,80res. at least for me thats more important.
But it seems everyone has other preferences.

pox tri is bis
trail is up there in terms of bis (other alternative is a MS ice climbers)

+130 int is thus standard

the zuni chest would just be an argument for +55 ar

more vit on top of 300 vit for chests? lol.

yeah, preferences. i'm not going to bother replying about this anymore. i don't even know why i tried to argue against your opinion.

There is a good argument for Tals over zuni on the first page of this thread. If you cant afford pox trifecta then sure go for zuni chest until you can. Your end build will always be tals. save them pennys

if ppl go for 2 parts zunimassa (which is a good decision) getting zuni chest over tals is very viable. although tals got ias Id always prefer 55 ar + useful extra stat on zunimassa chest (like high vit roll + life reg or sth like this). 55 ar + 500 life reg > 8 ias IMO. but I always aim for perfect balance stats so if ppl say they just want max dmg for pve tals prolly beats zunimassa in most cases.
