10% CHC (Critical Hit Chance) can spawn on shields, which i think is a very under-rated stat for barbs.

is the attack speed bonus calculated in the total dps?

example "800 dps weapon is same as 800 dps 20 attack speed weapon"?

I believe so.

Yes it is. The Attack Speed is actually calculated ON THE WEP's DPS. If that stat was removed from the actual wep the dps on the actual wep would decrease. But if you have a 800 dps norm wep and a 800 dps 20 attack speed the overall total dps calculated bases are the same as its the "DPS" but your swing would be faster based on the type of wep. Get 2 exact ilvl axes and look at the Attacks Per Sec to see what im talkin about.

I can say with 100% certainty that is is included in the big dps number on the weapon. The same is true for items with +armor and shields with +block%.

The only thing on a weapon that impacts the dps and isn't accounted for in the dps number on the weapon already is Str/Dex/Int since they each work for different classes.

I've just skimmed the last few pages, but does anyone have a link to a well regarded Best In Slot build for A4 Inferno Barb? I'm at the point now where I can start saving up to buy the good pieces and aside from Helm of Command, SS, and SoE I haven't seen a Best In Slot mentioned for most other spots.

think this one is a BiS too.

Cant really say BiS because you can stack different things and still do well.... General thing is have 50k+ hp / 1k+ All Res / 9-10k armor - The rest is up to what items you can get your hands on like Attack Speed, LoH, Crit, Block, Mele/Range Reduce %

Different strokes for different folks. I went with AS + LoH and didnt even have much block and downed Diablo. Dont get me wrong, Block is amazing mitigation, not knocking it at all, just had different gear.

hey all, seems like this is the thread to get gear advice. i'm following Zrave's guide, but I can't seem to get past a2. it rapes me. I know i need a few upgrades, but i'm not sure where to start. Please help! Thanks in advance

Lol so many squishy barbs. Here's my hybrid tank/dps build - armor and resists plotted for efficiency in accordance to the reduction formulas, still a work in progress. Mostly play in 3-4 stacks with friends - solos even better. Can get my as to like 2.15+ AS if I switch to my talrashas and ias bk, and 90k + hp if I switch out my gloves and SoE. Running the manly in your face build: ironleap, wc impunity, revenge prov, wotb insanity, frenzy sidearm, and ignore pain ignorance.
