i am still testing around with storm crow vs mempo.
overall i can say that its a very close imo, cant really decide yet.
What makes the test results kind of unclean is that i switch 1 ring as well, so its not only crow vs mempo :S

but building and keeping stun is definitely smoother with crow and ~30 apoc, this i can say for sure.
Dmg wise Crow and my hellfire (15% more chd, 150 int less) is ~5% better than mempo and my zuni ring (150 more int, 3% more cc)

what was clear before is that if you run a tighter budget, just go for storm crow, since the price difference between a 6% crow (~75+mio) vs a 6% mempo (~2 bln) is just lol


what doe building and keeping stun mean? I thought freeze does not cost arcane power?

It means that to keep enemies stunned you need Critical Mass constantly ticking, for that you need to place a lot of wicked winds. Versus single targets you are going to run out of apoc with 18-20 apoc and place less wicked winds thus having less Critical Mass ticks and slower cooldowns for Nova and less Novas overall.

nice armor mod, I think yours worth around 50-70 millions due to low int roll. Do the testing on mp5 azmodan, see how long does it take to kill him in different helmets with same sets of gear.

I did tests on asmodan mp7. I can't just switch helms cos then storm Crow is not at same aps cap.
The dmg difference isn't big anyway. ofc iI could alter the tests more but cba, the general outcome is clear enough imo.
would like to test it with a good Crow though :-D

6 Crit storm crows are only going for 75 million when I checked last night. If you have the gear and funds to support the mempo then go for it. If not the 6 Crit storm crow or even a Andy's for archon will do the trick.

I am considering selling all my CM gear and just go archon mode due to the upcoming patch release and how amazing archon is about to become. We have a team that does mp 10 ubers and a replacement CM wouldn't be hard to find.

Archon is pretty cookie cutter. Just stack dps and ehp then you are good to go. Just remember ar and armor are more valuable now that you gain 40% bonus from archon mode

Your archon is fine as it is, I would suggest Zuni ring plus cd litany or rare ring when you are done leveling.

Can you post ur cm gear if selling?

Yup I have been looking for a Zuni ring for a very long time... Let me know if anyone can find a quafecta. My current one has 60 average damage, over 100 int, 32 Crit DMg and 9 attack speed.

In patch .1.0.7 will I be able skill something like this and be able to mp10? O.o What kind of gear would I need? O.o I'd like to note I'm a barb player that's tired of barbs so now I'm here. :D

I really want to find a way to use blizzard in the new patch, I love the skill and the damage buff is amazing. Seeing as this is the wizard discussion topic, help me out. :D

A huge upgrade is your paragon lvl. That will give you more stats then any item. So I would suggest investing in a leriocs signet with 30% and a few ubers to get a good hellfire. I ant trying to promote but we do offer free ubers daily on my stream with your machines. Just pm me for details.
