spending 70-110 mln on a weapon when your whole wizard is hardly 20 million would be a mistake. There is a cdxliv guide to 15 mln arcon that got 150k buffed dps, use it and save money for something real. Arcon build is a cheap way to level and farm, investing in it specifically would be a waste.



wow, everything is wrong, dude. You got decent arcon farmer, stick with it. For cm wiz you got terrible attack speed, it won't work as it should. You must be trolling, I guess, because you got zero apoc, no way you can do anything there with those set of skills and zero apoc.

What items should I replace with my current gear? How much ias gear do I need with 1.65 aps OS chantodo wand OR 1.79 aps chantodo wand? How much apoc do I need with either set up?

Hardly 20mln? Dude, seriously? I know theres alot of crap on her, but leorics alone is more, not to mention witchin hour, innas pants etc does represent more value.
Considering i still am at lvl 26-27ish, theres a long way to go, so i think i can bear to invest some in her so that i can farm and lvl more effeciently. Thnaks for your reply though, unfortunately it was not very constructive,

On a related note, can you build a CM wizzard that is able to farm effeciently?

Imo a well geared cm wiz is one of / if not the best farming class for farming high mp's, but its probably one of the most expensive to build

So wasting 100 millions on a weapon would be a wrong move. Keep in mind that items prices are going to change with upcoming pvp. Also, keep in mind that with new experience buffs for higher mp's arcon might become less effective way to farm and level than cm/ww (which is the only efficient farming build for high mp's).





you should replace all of your items. Aim for gear with perfect ias. About chantodo's, I haven't really tested ias wand, but I guess with it you can reach 3,003 aps without bubble which will empty one skill slot for either magic weapon or meteor or time warp rune of bubble. Not really sure if one skill slot = 100% more critical damage.

Argument can be made for cc Mempo, but I would recommend against it, since you will be reaching 3,003 aps without it (so ias won't really boost you much), and high cc versions are too expensive. Most importantly you are losing apoc and LoH from Storm Crow.

Don't overspend on wand, 300 millions is max what i would spend there. Aim for 11xx 1,65 aps 10 apoc versions with socket or critical damage (latter can be a much better deal). Orb can be really expensive though, you do need apoc on it. Most expensive parts would be rings and amulet, I am not sure if trifecta zunimassa's pox is withing 2b budget, probably not. But you can buy good rare trifectas with all res or armor for much much cheaper and use ice climbers. If you want, I can help you chose gear, I will be online on Sunday (mad1lee#2243).

3,003 is better. It's more damage, more LoH, more survivability. Get more armor/all res, try to get away from Inna's pants, raise your ehp so you can use storm armor and diamond shards. About your gear - everything looks bad honestly, but I can't give advice because I really don't know how big is your budget.

Not sure about EU, but a low 1150, 1.65, 10 apoc chant would cost at least 700m alone. Perfect ias chant with 1220 and similar stats cost about the same. So it's more like 100 cd vs 70 dps + ias. I am not quite sure which way to go at the moment. Coming from a non-cm wiz I am not quite sure how much weapon dps weighs against cd.

Shouldn't I keep my blackthorne's pants? It provides really good ehp. And zuni boots?
