if you're 60.. do not use that weapon.. anyone who is having trouble with gear pm me, i have alot of monk hand-me-down gear i'm willing to sell cheapish.. even better if your main res is cold because i have alot of that.

Have seen some melee characters that are able to survive relatively well in Inferno - forget about HP and DPS - the MOST important stats are Resistance, high end characters should be around the vicinity of 1,000 res all, and aiming for 1k Life per hit, you could have 500,000 HP and you would get done in less than 10 hits if your res is low

4k dps w/ 1h & shield.. Level 53

Can anyone speak to farming Inferno with MF gear? What boss/rare mob is the best? My friend who is a wiz farms some rare after Izual but it seems the monk cannot solo Izual inferno, correct? So, options?

as i said earlier, i'm running jailer/butcher runs. getting usually 3 rares off each of them + 8-10 blues. and a bunch of rares on the way from various mobs.

What in your opinion do you think I need to improve in order to make this build work in Act 2 Inferno. I cleared Act 1 with very few issues and can farm butcher usually without dying unless I get one of those op arcane plague des waller jaller type champ packs.

BTW I am already planning to increase resists , damage, and would like to get my life on hit closer to 1k or more. ALSO that is totally unbuffed stats meaning not using my ally or mantra.

I'm enjoying the monk a lot. 22.2k HP but 24.4k w/Earth Ally & 4k DPS so far at level 53.

I want to spend the gold on some LoHit rings but I'd sacrifice a lot of vit/dex by dumping my current rings. Maybe just wait till 60?

My stats when I completed act 2 solo. I can pretty much destroy normal mobs, no champ pack gives me trouble. I have spent some 4.5mill in gear. Those who say that you shouldn't have to farm and buy gear, I can only say this: This is a sequel to Diablo 2 played over battle.net.
