LoH is great, but definitely is not required.

What i really want to try is a build with gear full of Spirit Regen + Life per Spirit Spent stats stacked up.
If i can get my regen super high, any and all kiting/downtime would net me both life and spirit which is something LoH lacks...

When kiting a mob, if you dont already have some spirit saved up, you got nothing to heal with cept your damn potion... i hate relying on that.

Barb belt. i think that is the only other leech source.

Another reason why people don't really bother. In inferno you need 100k DPS just to make 3% life leech return as much life as 1000 LoH. Apparently they thought leech was too godly in D2.

iirc rings and amulets can have lifesteal.

they hard capped passive spirit regen several patches ago, so watch out for that if anyone plans to build a spirit regen/LPSS monk.


i stand by my assertion throughout this thread that LoH is an offensive stat. it's a quality of life improvement defensively, but it's still mostly an offensive stat that increases your DPS time more than anything.

Haven't seen a life leech ring to date, i checked item database and not a single legendary/set item has life leech (non-weapon).
I believe the last time i checked (can't check now), the AH doesnt have any LL amy/rings either (anyone online now can check?).

nah man, like crip wave might hit 5 monsters at 20k each thats 100k, as well it works with sweeping wind and backlash.

so sweeping wind could work like 150+ life regen per sec on top of what it does.

i thought to sacrifice some dmg and get more life and res from this upgrade. i do get almost 5k more life but the res is not expected.
