anybody try tempet rush builds>?
Hella fun and fast for t6

Everything I tried wasn't worth using frostburns. They are 15% cold max but only 4 primaries. Losing aughilds and you would need CDR on gloves so you're losing 10 Crit or 50crit damage...

Also the sword doesn't proc often and the damage it does is tiny compared to tempest.

I could be wrong but ehhhh

isn't the freeze effect on frostburn good? also 50cd shouldn't be much if your using 2x1h

50 cd is damn lots and the effect isn't worth what you're giving up for it.

say you have 45% cc and 500% cd
an extra 50cd is 6.9% dps

and if you have 60% cold damage 15% is 9.4%


just depends if the freeze effect+bracer slot is worth loosing aughild's
could use ancient pathan defenders just not sure how much it freezes /how useful it would be in important situation

Would Azurewrath/rimeheart combo work?

^basically i think the proc coefficient for tempest rush is too low, it's at 0.25 apparently

if you attacks per second is at 1.8 tempest rush hits 3 times this amount for 5.4 attacks per second

so with azurewraths 25% chance you get 5.4*0.25*0.25 =0.33 ie 1 proc every 3 seconds
rimeheart is 0.2, 1 every 5 seconds
frostburn with 45% is every 1.6 seconds

then with the freeze effects get reduced effects against elites


I was wondering about making a hybrid of the tempest rush build and exploding palm though
could use frostburn and gungdo and swap breath of heaven for exploding palm
exploding palms proc rate is at 1 and with multiple explosions hitting multiple targets that's a lot of potential proc's
but leorics will still probably be the better choice, once a lot of stuff explodes things get a lot easier and its probably not as important to have stuff frozen

stuff like skill damage %, bane of powerful 20%, passive skills all get taken together so aren't quite as useful as they seem
