a good starting point is blessed hammer - thunderstruck. use this together with a 2h with wrath regen. after some hours or days of farming, you should have 6 piece akkhan or 5p + rrog. from then on, you can play either fire or shotgun, depending on your other gear and your preferences. for fire, the ideal weapon is darklight. for shotgun, you need a fate of the fell.
in both cases, you need enough cdr on your gear to get to around 50% charscreen cooldown reduction.
priority on gear is cdr, then followed by the usual stuff (elemental bonus, mainstat, cc, cd and so on....)
prefer allres over armor.
skills to use for both darklight and shotgun builds:
steed charge - endurance
shield glare - divine verdict
provoke - too scared to run
law of valor - unstoppable force (or critical if you have enough wrath without unstoppable force...)
passives: long arm of the law, finery, holy cause
for darklight, use akarats champion - firestarter and fist of the heavens - heavens tempest, passive: fervor.
for shotgun, use akarats champion - prophet and heavens fury - fires of heaven, passive: heavenly strength.
