so i'm totally new to dh.

got like 3b to spend.

is legacy nats the way to go? just played from 1-40 and i think salto is pretty good to use. so disc reg is important.

whats the best setup to go for?

imo legacy nat is BIS.
I would use also calamity/manticore with dml with Your main skill + 10 dics.
rest regular.

For farming legacy nats is best

for PVP new nats is better as you just cant achieve the same stats new nats gives you with legacy

Anyway,

My 2 cents on the discussion above is -- Farming Legacy is superior in low MPs, therefore, higher efficiency.

As for PvP it takes one hell of a New nats set to beat a good legacy DH player. Mystical (who has an average legacy set) went 7-10 VS REVRAC, revrac won of course but it was not easy. DH vs DH is largely based on skill.

Just hit paragon 19 on my legacy nats! Running mp1-2 on a strafe build right now works pretty fast
Cept im using rockets runes with passive instead of nightstalker
Working on upgrading my gloves/ammy for more ehp havent found much on the ah yet

Should i just craft gloves/bracer/shoulders/ammys?

Crafting will usually come out cheaper specially on bracers those are the easiest to roll I think gloves and ammys are tough, shoulders its hard to beat a Vile Ward overall (armor, life regen, possible dual res) but its doable as well.

I use night stalker with my legacy dh because vaulting is faster than running with tactical advantage. So more disc = more vaulting. I also run Demolition because it has the highest proc rate out of the Strafe Runes.

Yeah i farmed some bracers with better stats then the ome you gave me lost .5 cc but gain 60 ar
Next is gloves then ammy/shoulders last then imma do bracers again
