Anyway, I was just goofing around and trying out builds in A3 inferno. Using a nado build I got 125 monster massacre that gave a shit ton of exp (17k IIRC). I got another 90 monster massacre and a bunch of 50s. Honestly I think these guys are just straight up killing tons of shit quickly non-stop. If you can do a full A3 clear in under an hour with a nado barb, you're going to get a paragon each run.
17k isn't exactly a lot. I cataloged the exp of some mobs in a single player game. Elites: a3 rare spider 47k, a3 rare fallen shaman 57k, a3 rare spider 45k, minions 9k~ each x5-6. Champs: a3 champ succubus 27k x3-4. Basically, a typical Elite mob encounter nets you 81k-110k exp. Elites pop up more often than your 125 mob massacres do, and obviously the lesser massacres give less.
IMO it's all about the guys elite kills(55k+...) and time spent in game. Compared to myself I'm lvl21 on one char, 10 on another, with 21.7k elite kills and I typically only clear a3 two or 3 times a day. He's doing those hour long runs back to back to back to back, like 8-12 a day. No wonder he has over double my elite kills and over double my level, lol.
