to solo nightmare is it more recomenceded to have a dual weapon or a 1H with a Shield??

and your reccomendation is to become less balanced? seems bad... i've tried that... had 80k dps at one time, but died too much.... hybrid dps / tank crit barb is fun and good game. Can't lie tho it's expensive.

I'm saying go defensive enough to actually be able to kill the boss, then increase offense as much as you can without sacrificing defense. Or do the opposite... Get enough dps that you can melt everything, and then work on your survivability. You're trying to do both and can't kill the easiest act 3 boss as a result, whereas with some tweaking one way or the other he would be easy.

I built tank, I touched Diablo's taint


Now its glass cannon 2h dps time... I played WoW for 5 yrs and tanking is the same in every game. Pretty boring imo. DPS is where it is at. Hella fun

i need some help in terms of gear/build/playstyle

here are my stats. i can rape act 1-2 but when i get to act 3 the mobs hit hard and usually die pretty quick if i leap into a big pack of mobs...... when fighting elites forget about it, it its not a decent combo i get raped..... and even with my buddy whos a dh i get raped by siegebreaker when he does that thrashing combo move.... anyways.. what advice can you guys give me?

Siegebreaker is a giant cunt, try changing ur shout to +armor rune

gearwise I cant stress enough how big Life on Hit is... u could use more vit if u can get some on gear btw.

do you guys recommend staying with this build? also are there links to more dps oriented build or will that cost me a ton of $$???

My thought process gearing my tank was Survivability > Dps

You have plenty of dps, and actually I personally would reduce the str for more vit in ur case. Buildwise I pick up Threat Shout if shit is hitting hard over Ignore Pain + Zerk for surv/dps over either leap -or- charge (I only pick up leap or charge, not both with my builds. Use it for mobility then anything.)

with my current build i use both for movement and also to heal off of charge..... to be honest. i wanna change my build. its so boring. :(

go 2h dps or throw barb and change everything.

I farm like a boss as 2h now with 172.8k dps with buffs when I kill elites + bosses
