Was definitely a failure

D3 ruined everything Diablo 2 players knew and loved but this new blizzard shows they are trying to accommodate the casual player (Diablo immortal for mobile , when asked they gave a disrespectful answer "what don't you have phones?" ). The "new" blizzard is so far out of touch with their players and the Diablo community and all they see are $ ignoring the community feedback. Diablo 3 has very little replay value and is just and endless grind , the chats are DEAD and those who do play now just pretty much play a glorified online single player mode of greater rift spamming. The only time you see anything in chat is when players are looking for a plvl and they won't be seen again until they decide to roll another character. No game name lobbies to a more "forced" lineage story mode to very restricting character builds(meta rules all).
Blizzard really screwed the pooch!
The real question is , with D3 being a failure and the next Diablo being mobile.. is blizzard killing off the Diablo franchise for good?
Blizzard shouldn't release Diablo immortal , they should remaster d2 with quality of life updates , new content a new class or two and sell that.
