d2 pvp was good at the time, but the game died, hacks ruled over legitimate dueling and all the relevant people quit many years ago
diablo 2 itemization though it was nice it was also a massive curse to the game forcing trading on players because certain items almost never dropped
thus botting became the norm and those who could were rich for free, diablo 2 has major flaws and thats why the game died many years ago
tl;dr if you're playing d2 still you're an idiot, and if you're playing d3 right now uninstall that shit, runescape is a more rewarding experience and thats boring too
