Why did they remove the auction house?

I first started playing the game two months after so I never got to experience it.

pretty much cause people would play the auction house more than the game and the game just revolved about it

i played d3 only bcz my buddy on discord was so adamant about it a few years back. he was at work or something and i was farming and i found him wand of woh or w/e the fvck it is called.

i was like oh shit he's going to love this, so i stashed it

he logged back in later, i couldn't give him the item? like what the fuck? it made me rage. then i found out, you can only trade it with pty members for 2 hours? why? so it minimizes bots? but when i logged in last week there are hundreds of bot spam of "lvling services, uniques per hour service, etc, etc".

all i want to do is trade my items, post them on jsp just like how people are selling shit for d2 (and path of exile).

this incentivizes farming / playing more / etc. when there is no economy or trading, it just gives me zero incentive to play. no matter how good the graphics and gameplay are. which is sad because D3 has amazing graphics and gameplay for an aRPG imo.

and it's not only about selling items, it's trading... in general. If I want to sell / trade an item I found I should have that right..

I respect blizzard for not allowing sites jsp to control their game(rip D2)but no point in doing such and still allow people to bot...that's what kills me about this game.

I like that you cant just log into a forum, sell items that have absolutely no value for currency, or use currency from a different game and get exactly what you need without grinding. That should be every game.

But if you're gonna remove trading, ffs remove the dam bots.

You just got wrecked. The explanation on why an online Diablo game needs a legitimate trade system is simple. It's been explained in this thread multiple times. One guy laid it out pretty simply for you.

Shit game is shit. Trading is a big reason why shit game is shit.

blizz needs to remove BOA it would make the game so much better.
Then add something to do other than rifting.
