I'm about to solo the 45 greater rift. I've been too weak to pass anything higher than 43.
But I just hit 540 paragon points. A friend helped me out with some better strategy.

Apparently I was using the wrong runes on my skills. I may be in position to do better.
I've been playing mostly from midnight to 4 AM (I rarely drop) as oppose to the day time.

I would prefer to find an ancient version of both the bul kathos sword.
But I gambled an ancient little rogue and ancient slanderer (3000+ damage on each).

I socketed both of them with a Ramaladni's Gift. I put a flawless royal emerald in both.
Critical Hit Damage Increased by 130.0% is making a night-and-day difference for me.
Before I had this amazing find I was using a 1750 and 1920 damage "normal" bul kathos sword.

Yeah, my DPS was very low for a while. I was only dishing out 305,000 damage which is very poor. Now I've got it to 989,000 damage. Over triple my previous amount. I'm still working on my other gear. Trying to find ancient variants of my armor, amulet, gloves, shoulder, one ring slot and stuff like that. I still have room for a lot of improvements but I like where I am right now.
