I play a Barbarian myself but normally I would select the higher armor (right one).
If you change anything to the ancient shield perhaps try to add a socket into it.
If you enjoy the 15 % blessed hammer damage then aim for that instead of the socket.
I personally aim for survival and I tend to favor the resistances and armor ratings.
