both, d2 is ridiculously dead though, its not the same game it was so many years ago

d3 gets patches...thats about all i could say there, not the worst game ever but it gets boring relatively fast

/r/slashdiablo has like 500 active members and it is not very hard to get going. its a pretty classic server with minimal tweaks not exp bonus and its set to 1.13c. Althought 1.12 would be best imo

There all dead. Since theres a wider selection of games people can play now. And F2P ones as well which diminish player #s.
