I used UE till I was about P 600. By then I acquired full ancient nats and made the switch. It's a lot easier to gear UE and assuming you're relatively new, UE will be the way to go for speed rifting.
You're right, UE is a lot easier to gear and play. To me, nats is really only good for 50+. Also, you need good grouping to use anathema as stampede is stupid as hell to use in gr
