@shsheik - imo the skill itself is not efficient. . Since u have to mark each mob separately... as I said.. that would be good vs bosses
But as I said.. that is not biggest issue of that .. flexable to ur comfort

@waffle imo frw is not necessary with vault and the passive im using that increasing speed after vault
But as I clearly wrote its all depending on ur items stats and what ure missing.

You use the rune that marks multiple targets ofc.

I have a Calamity in my INV I switch to for Extra Health etc. Would never use it as my main weapon, damage range is just too variable. Imo you're either CA or Sentry, building for one hurts the other.

I don't take Max Hatred either in Paragon, Reaper's is more than enough for sustain. Also Companion type is irrelevant. I can share some more feedback after work.

I actually disagree with a significant amount of this guide.

Magefist > cindercoat

And you neglected to mention the hexane pants of mr yan.

I'll only use cinder if I can get one with 3 sockets and sentry damage.

I have near perfect magefist and a Mara chest with sentry damage on it and it out classes cindercoat.

Your sentries do more damage than you. Put the focus in the sentries not yourself.

Custom engineering is a waste if you have bombardiers. You don't need sentries to last longer than 30s for 98% of your encounters. Let alone lay down a 5th sentry. It's a wasted passive.

Max move speed > dex. Always. Mobility means everything for clear time. Especially for those like me who use SS and not vault.

Don't like tactical advantage because you sacrifice damage or survivability to use it.

I wouldn't use a calamity or any 1h with sentries. Period.
Your sentries damage is based on your weapons base dmg. (Not dps). Crippling your sentries just to apply a debuff is stupid. Sure being able to have your whole party deal 20% more dmg sounds great but due to the way damage is calculated it's realistically nowhere near that high.

PLEASE remove the section about companion rune.
With Mara set you get all actives and all passives.

Paragon-

In NO WAY should you prioritize AS over CDR. Only reason you should get AS from paragon before the other three sections is to hit a sentry breakpoint. I have 13 points in order to reach 1.46 aps breakpoint. Anything more is wasted.

All res> armor> life %/life regen
Plain and simple valuing life% above armor and all res is stupid. It's fake toughness. Mitigation>>>>>>health pool.

Also wanted to touch on CHC over CD.
Depending on current stats. CD could be better.
Optimal is 1:10 ratio.
If you have 55 crit chance and 350 crit damage. Crit damage is a higher priority.
The opposite is true if you have 40 crit chance and 550 crit damage.

This critique was difficult to do on a mobile device so I may have missed some things.

The biggest issue I saw was recommending calamity and saying nothing about 2h. I would kick a dh from a t6 group using sentry build with a 1h.

It depends on ur play style.
imo Cindercoat is more effective then magefist cause i do alot of damage by my dh itself (meanwhile cooldowns etc)
Cumstom engineering is cool, also depends on the battle, vs bosses is a must imo
and as i said, Faster run/walk is useless if u are using vault with technical advatage..
AS @ paragon was discussed earlier, i admited it was a mistake

about Calamity ill have to check again, was using it mostly in group.
thanks for the feedback

btw, what do you mean by " by using marauder you get all passive and ACTIVE bonuses " ?
boar's active, heals ur hatred, is your hatred constantly full ? ^^

btw, I would really appriciate if you add a link to ur character when criticzing me :)

Core: Dexterity > Vitality > Maximum Hatred > Run speed
Offense: Critical Chance > Critical Damage > Attack speed > Cooldown reduction
Defense: Life % > Resistance > Life regeneration > Armor
Utility: Resource cost reduction > Life on hit > Area Damage > Gold find

IMO:

Core: get 25% MS from items+paragon then everything to Dexterity.
Offense: Get the Attack speed breakpoint you need, then max out crit chance/damage (starting with whichever gives more damage), max out cdr, put remaining point into attack speed.
Defense: Since you can get killed in a few seconds, just put points into whichever gives the most Toughness, poitons+templar+health globes will take care of the healing. (As of 2.0.6, might change with 2.1), Res > Life > Armor in most cases.
Utility: Gold Find last, Life on Hit for 3rd (same reason as life regen), I use Mad Bomber build, so I maxed RCR first but I think Area Damage is better for Sentries. (I'm over 400 paragon, so it doesn't really matter for me :P )

Aight, I came up with this build after trying a few different builds
(Tried physical, Fire without sentries and mores)
In my opinion its the ultimate for farming high torrent levels

I will do this as simple as it can be:

Part one: Equipments

Obviously You need as much Critical Hit chance, Critical Hit damage and Fire damage % as possible
In addition, Cooldown reduction is useful in this build, since sentry skill has cooldown
There are few basics for this build that the build won't work without them:
Marauder set (5 Parts + Ring of Royal Grandeur) - Enables your sentries to shoot your hatred costed skills + summons all your companions
Bombadier's Rucksack Quiver Enables you to use extra +2 maximum of Sentries
Cindercoat Reduces all your Fire skills cost + provides a nice Fire damage bonus

Other items I would recommend:
Reaper's Wrap - recovers 25-30% hatred per health globe
Calamity 'Marked for death' to every enemy that got hit by you, that makes them take 20% more damage
Stone of Jordan for 2+ Party game - Higher damage vs elites, with High Fire damage %
Unity Ring Instand of Soj for Solo games (Must equip your follower with a Unity aswell and with Enchanting Favor relic)
Harrington's Waistguard belt - 100-130% additional damage for 10 seconds after open chest/corspe, since sentries does all for us, we have time to run and open chests meanwhile the fight

Part two: Skills

This part is very dynamic, alot depanding on your equips but there are few things that are a must.
that is the link to my character, thats how I think its the most effective to play right now:
http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/NiRo-2901/hero/11196350

Must skills for that build are:
Sentry (Spitfire turrent rune will give some additional damage, and reduce the cost of hatred since it makes it a "Fire skill")
Cluster Arrow (Loaded for bearRune Provides tons of fire damage, also here hatred cost will be reduced by Cindercoat)
Multishot (Arsenal Rune is recommended, even though you could also use 'Suppression Fire' which is neat for recovering your Discipline but skill itself will cost more hatred)
Companion (Wolf Companion Rune Provides 125% Damage which is cool. Companion skill itself is must in my eyes, since it provides alot of tank with full Marauder set)
Vault (The Rune here is kinda dynamic. I personally use 'Ratting Roll' since I like the stun, and also it fits perfectly to my amulet (Stun summons 2 Clones with same dmg as me
but also 'Trail of Cinders' is a good option, will require less discipline and provide some fire damage)
Custom Engineering (Passive - Enables you to use +1 maximum Sentry)
*Rest skills and Passive skills depends mostly on your gear, you can check my character's if you wanna get some general idea

Paragon: (This is alot depending on what youre missing in your equipments, thats a general opinion)

Core: Dexterity > Vitality > Maximum Hatred > Run speed
Offense: Critical Chance > Critical Damage > Attack speed > Cooldown reduction
Defense: Life % > Resistance > Life regeneration > Armor
Utility: Resource cost reduction > Life on hit > Area Damage > Gold find

Enjoy the guide, I will accept feedbacks and your opinions.
if you have any questions regarding the build, i will be glad to answer!

your dh has nice gear but you should put a ruby in that calamity to make your sentries more effective as the average dmg of a calamity is very low.

My manti for instance has higher minimum damage than your calamitys highest damage

I fully agree with this guy 100%

Again another point on magefists over cinder, Your sentries do plenty of damage one sentry can kill off most white while you walk by them.
If you're spending hatred throwing another CA into them then you're waisting time.

With out cinder coat killing a group of elites you may have time to get to 4 sentries before they're dead and spend all your hatred and use your companion to replenish your hatred.
And if it is a really strong group and still not dead find a health pot. problem solved. Magefist is better
