I tried it out too but it's not worth it. Hammer barb is way more effective or ww ofc.

Weapon throw is almost the best for fury generation if and only if you get a reduced cost belt and soj.
It's also pretty handy vs any pack you might not want to go near however for hardcore your better off just leaving that pack alone.

I wouldn't advise using it without at least one reduced cost item as it's just too little damage for too much cost unless it's near free.

Basically it can take the place of bash and will actually generate more fury in some situations with the right gear.

Not "almost", it IS the best fury generator. Mighty Throw for high proc coeff + Into the fray + No escape passive = 30 fury / crit. Add -reduce cost in belt + SoJ and you only spend 1 fury for a shot (can't reduce it to 0)

Sadly the damage is lackluster, even with a good 300th spear. It can not be an effective main nuke, you have to pair it with something else (WW, HOTA, even Seismic slam)

If you are going to make a throw barb that has actually good DPS, you HAVE to use run with the wind. To this day, one of my favorite things to do in D3 was to run around a pack with run with the wind and then mow them down with ricochet. Pretty fun
