Poe seemed very nice for like two weeks, with that massive passive skill tree skills that can be modified etc. Soon you realize that as complex and massive the skill tree is, it kinda sucks, one skill point offers you next to nothing(and you need like 10 points to that one thing to get decent amount of frw for example) except few times in the course of your char when you get to those special skills, which well, they offer you much more than those regular skills, but only few of them are big differences to your char.
What comes to skills and the skill modifier gems, its a good idea and works reasonably well and makes you think for a while what to make of it, but personally i prefer both d2 and d3 systems.
Playability on it is still bit tacky, swapping skill slot absolutely sucks and is so horrible that i prefer not to use it at all with ranger(i wanted a block slot, but you cant use it as smoothly to make any use of it). Maybe this will be fixed after the game sometimes in few years is finished(open beta is not finished).
Overall its not nearly as smooth as d3 or even d2 and its not really fun to play after you done it for a while. Maybe it might be decent game when its finished, but for now i really dont care to play it anymore and im pretty sure that many people will try it out after open beta is released and come to the same conclusion as i have: d3 >
kid is angry because game doesn't spoonfeed everything to him, lawl.
