Yes the higher damage weapon is more important than the DPS itself.

Use a dagger for your offhand. Your attack speed display in the character sheet doesn't change b/c it shows your main weapon attack speed. Every time you attack it alternates, so if you keep the sheet open and spam shift+click, u can see it alternates back and forth. Additionally, you need the faster attack speed on the dagger b/c it procs more hits from your tornados and you get more hits leading to more life on hit.

The dps and damage on your offhand is not that important since your tornados only use the weapon damage from your main hand. Since they use your main hand damage and not the dps you will do more dmg with a slower high damage main hand. That is why slow weapons are popular among crit builds.

* for an offhand your looking for high aps for more procs (as your offhand aps is calculated into your tornados), loh or ll, crit damage, str, vita etc.. basically whatever stats you think your lacking

Thanks. I bought a main hand with some loh, and has like 1.7k loh now. Definitely able to do act 3 much easily although its taking awhile to kill.

Any advice on gear upgrade apart from the weaps?

I can do a3 with 600 all res. use berserker with the time lasting thing, you can kill 2 packs of champion mobs sometimes. Its pretty epic.

But I'm looking to swap out my gear for a dagger/mighty weapon main hand.
