Omfg I remember that was in like 1.09 or some shit

Hahah yeah, just required a bit of social skills to fool them. I remember I did it to some guy in the army who claimed he would come to my house and break my computer. He ended up crying so I felt a bit bad and gave him back a few items.

Exactly, it's why I said if you ever played Runescape before you wouldn't be getting scammed.

Anyone selling something that seems too good to be true, is more than likely the case. It's why you take extra precaution with trades like that, it doesn't matter how many trades you've done just fine in the past.

My brother is also victim of the stupid scams, guy said "ILL ADD A STAR RUBY ONLY 100k extra Okay?" and swapped out the 8M 1 handed axe he was trying to buy, for something shitty that looked the same.

How about instead of posting worthless information or glory hogging it, you post HOW to identify scammers and make the community a better place.

Although I am sure Runescape is a fine game, I didn't play it! I wouldn't jump on a trade for fiery brimstone but their maybe a trade that I do jump all over. I wouldn't want a bulk trade to appear as one item in my inventory.

I'm not a scammer on here where fg/warns actually mean something. But if it's in a public game where it is totally anonymous and you can find people gullible enough to fall for stupid shit, then sure.

I'm sure most people are guilty of this to some extent.
