ive been doing this since day one, same processer a little faster although. if i had known no one else knew about this i would have posted a long time ago, i do this with all games i get really low fps for no reason. seems many games dont have quad core support.

Still need to test it, but i'm sure it will help! Only have real issues with 3 or 4 player games and lots of aoe's but still, my rig should be handling that and it's not.

some processors scale their speed with the amount of cores being used. Less cores used = more GHz on the used ones. This is for cooling reasons.

So basically disable all but 1-2 cores and it'll run on max speed :)
