the main boss in d2 was not diablo why should he be in d3

Guys...Youre all wrong unfortunately, Its Griswald from Tristram, with all of those tristram level runs, youve gone and pissed him off.

Griswald's moves:

GRAND SLAM (Pick any 5 of his ten abilities to use on you) - Similar to Denny's Build Your Own Breakfast

LEOPLURADON THROW - Has a 50% chance to kill you instantly - Similar to The Leopluradon in Charlie The Unicorn

DONKEY PUNCH - On hit, it will stun you for 1 minute rendering you helpless to your teammates

HIS OTHER 7 MOVES WISH TO REMAIN ANONYMOUS

or

...all of you thought it was safe....

...all of you thought it was O.K.....

...all of you took it...

...all of you used it...

...and NOW!!!!!....

...he wants it back!!

WIRT is back and out for blood. In a quest to receive is stolen leg. Wirt now commands the Legions of hell against Earths greatest Champions!!!

but seriously it will be some one who we have never herd of befor because the final boss is going to come from a comet remember

but i supose it could be just a spirit who pozesses Deckard Cain or some shit lol

when we kill diablo his soul escapes and he corrupts hadriel

and because hadriel is an angel not a human diablo is able to take his truest of forms (the three headed beast in the trailer)

diablo is in his true form you'll see him in his fake form when you go into the forrest from act3 (The wanderer) or Dark wanderer or what it is but in act4 he is in his true form

In diablo timeline belial is in it

Led by Azmodan and Belial, many of the Hells' lesser demons rise up against the Prime Evils in a rebellion that culminates in the Dark Exile. Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal are exiled to Sanctuary from the Burning Hells.

"In early Christian writings, Belial was identified first as an angel of confusion and lust, created after Lucifer. Paradoxically, some apocrypha credit Belial as being the father of Lucifer and the angel that convinced him to wage a rebellion in Heaven against God, and that Belial was the first of the fallen angels to be expelled."

yes, he could be created after, when they were both angels.. but hes the first demon/fallen angel and the father of satan. I don't think they mean father as his dad but rather his teacher?

Belial, as the Lord of Lies in Diablo lore, is Tyrael.

But in all seriousness, it's nice to see people looking into the theology that the Diablo series is based from (not always directly based on, mind you). Whether or not you're Christian or Catholic, or if you're religious or not, it's an intriguing research to look into; especially if you're looking for inspiration for heroes, villains, etc.
