ok help me out uber monks (this is the high end monk thread yea?). no idea what to upgrade next. i cruise through act 3 farming pretty fast with minimal to no deaths




besides the second ring which is easily replaceable (but with what?), every upgrade feels like its pushing the 10 mil+ territory now. like move speed on those boots would cost 50 mil+ easy, or higher dex/vit on the bracers/helm/ammy, or crit dmg on the gloves. even something like 150 dex/vit/ar/poison res shoulders costs 25 mil

838 resists, 48.1% dodge, 5.3k armor, 1.97 atk speed, 21% crit chance, 192% crit dmg, 29k dps, 43k hp, 1072 loh. unbuffed (besides seize the initiative)

i like dual wielding. i have to do some kiting but that usually just means switching from one elite to another, with minimal downtime DPSing.

is there any gear piece that stands out that needs replacing?

i think ur amulet can be replaced. Yeah it is a decent dps amulet but u can get some vital stats on there that u cant get otherplaces. Try to find an amulet with a high loh, some psn resist, higher crit %, etc. Getting Loh on an amulet will let u replace ur weaker 1h weapon to one with way more dps without loh. I have ~900 loh from just my rings and amulet, which helps my dps a ton since i can use 2 weapons with insane dmg mods.

Someone willing to really help me out with what i should upgrade, i am working on my monk and really would love to be able to solo act 3 dual wielding i don't have much gold left only have 2mill at this moment.

yo guys, i was "out of my monk" since ias nerf (i felt so bad that i stopped playing her in favor of my DH)
now i've found a new weapon while farming, went back do DW and wanted to play again with my monk...
my current stats are:
37k HP
13k DPS, 15k (after BoH)
1,7 APS
625@res
4,3k armor (unbuffed)
34,3% dodge (unbuffed)
840 LoH
11% CHC
111% CD

I know it's quite low (as i said i was focusing on my DH) but i was wondering if these stats are enough to begin act3/farm act2 with a DPS partner;
My skills atm:
Keyboard:
Serenity - Ascension
BoH - Blazing wrath
Blinding Flash - Infused with Light
Mantra of Evasion - Hard Target (i switch to MoC - Overawe in Act1 farming)

Mouse:
Way of Hunderds Fists - Fist of fury
Sweeping Wind - Bladestorm

Passives:
One with everything
Seize the Initiative
Resolve

It's true that LoH doesnt work with more than 40k DPS?

@ekoe I second retarded monkey! At 10k dps, you'll be hitting enrange timers on elites for sure... i was hitting them sometimes with 14k unbuffed... you have enough resists and vit... but dex seams really low...

@Shirl86 i think you can run with those stats, but you need deadly reach w/ 50% armor run, and maybe even mystic ally for your 2 mouse buttons... i think those stats are just about right for finish act 2... but for act 3 it seems lacking... your hp is nice, but i don't think that's enough res and armor to fully tank :/ nor is your aps/loh high enough to make up for it :(
