Hey, thought I would share my build with you guys
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=72256030&f=142

I was trying to come up with a monk that could match a bell build in t6 rifts and I think I have done this. It's incredibly fast/powerful in rifts and most importantly a lot of fun to use. There's pretty much no limit to how well you can use it with infinite teleports/pulling enemies around/setting stuff up, it can produce some truly inspired combos/kills

let me know what you think
cheers

oh yeah i forgot gems, thanks knew there was something

i agree the bane's are generally staples for a lot of builds, taeguk is needed for greater rifts and its pretty easy to keep it on as you move quickly between packs and can attack every so often without loosing much speed/spirit

not sure i can be bothered with it for t6 though, well i often use hoarder, you have a lot to think about with this character anyway and keeping up stacks is just extra hastle

gem of effeciacious toxin is a good alternative and it helps your party, even if other people have it you should be hitting a lot of first increasing the damage of initial attacks (i'm assuming it doesn't stack?)

Well for hardcore I'm thinking of swapping some of the gems around this season. Taeguk is a must have, perma dmg and armour is a no-brainer.

Bane of the trapped is nice, but it doesn't affect bosses and packs go down really fast with palm.

Maybe Taeguk, Powerful and Wildebeest?

I'm 99.9% non season so Iunno. On ptr the esoteric alteration gem was a huge toughness boost. Also my point of view is tempest so not sure on EP builds.

I always read this gem as 'after not taking damage for 4 seconds, gain an absorb shield for 200% of your total Life, per Second' rather than 200% of your total 'Life per Second'
guess it depends on how much life per second you have

Moratorium sounds good as its often sudden periods of high damage that kills you even if it didn't have the option of clearing the damage

Esoteric Alteration seems like my favorite defensive one though, at level 40 you get 30% non physical reduction and the 75% increase below 50% life is pretty massive, then just stack a bit of extra physical resistance to make up for it, that's a ton of extra mitigation
wonder if it stacks with sixth sense for 55% reduction or would it be 47.5%?

I checked all the gems and came up with a good set:
#1 Taeguk
#2 Molten Wildebeest
#3 Esoteric Alteration

Perfect gems for hardcore, got them all lv25 right away.

€: 25% from Sixth sense passive and 22,5% from Esoteric alteration shows up as 41,87%.

yeah lightning bell is probably still your best option

lashing tail kick with Hand of Ytar is a good alternative, it doesn't have as much aoe but it's a ranged attack and will do more damage per spirit if you get past 25% cold damage

i'd try cold bell for fun also, had a good time when i was using this skill
