cm/ww is not about paper dps. 8+ more critical chance from amulet is great in terms of utility. You will proc much more and difference is quite feasible. I got 50 critical chance and I plan to squeeze 5 more. How much damage you deal as cm ww is not numbers on your char sheet, it's how many explosive blasts and diamond shards you can cast in one fight and how many loh you can leech back from wicked winds. And it all depends on APS and CC, cc is a bit less important than APS, but still a part of equation that is effective cm/ww dps. If your budget is good, great zuni ring is not only a damage boost (massive boost if trifecta with your boots) but also 60-70 more all res. If your budget is not good zuni boots are not much of a use to you since they add little damage to non-black weapons like chantodo. Good ice climbers with no movement speed (because you got it already) but with vita and + armor or +phys res would contribute to your build much more.

Is archon/cw wizard viable? since i need life steal for my archon wizard to survive rd champs but the dmg from life steal 1h weapons isnt that much then the weps without life steal.. i tho maybe u could just go into cmww when reflects come and kill them afther that in archon again bec ur cooldowns resets.. So you will get a higher dmg 1h because you dont need life steal and do ubers easy.. Anyone has experience with this?.

Very high end archon can crush mp 10 easily. But it's way easier to do it with cm.

it's like few wizards in the world who can arcon mp10. And it's still not eficient unless your dps and ehp are absolutely godly and you got godly life leech weapon

Mp10 is inefficient for any class in terms of farming.

It can be efficient, it's just not as efficient as lower MPs.
There is not a single, flat benchmark for diablo 3 farming efficiency.

so um, I keep seeing fake cm/ww's posting in uber threads with like 200k++ dps. upon checking them, they don't reach atleast 2.74 attackspeed or have shitty EHP.


how much attackspeed do you really need to perma ubers? I'm sitting at like ~800allres, attackspeed 2.74/52k hp or 3.01(with bubble)/46k both at roughly ~130k dps

2,84 + bubble is enough to hit 3,003. If you got 2,74; it's not enough. About clueless wizard players, yes, majority don't know the math behind cm/ww build and just waste their gold on 1,61-1,64 chantodo's wands and items with 8 ias and less. Even best wizard in the world (Frostburn) when using cm/ww build reaches 2,99 aps, which is retarded with all his godly gear and money. He needs to upgrade one single 8 ias item to reach next breakpoint which will be a huge boost for his char, sadly, he doesn't know about it or doesn't seem to care (with 400k unbuffed dps).

You can't really permafreeze fat mp10 ubers, because they get immune to cc eventually. I am running 3,0 aps - 27 apoc - 50 cc wizard with evocation and cold snap and they still move sometimes. 3 seconds freeze becomes like half second freeze after few minutes of fighting.

this is a great guide. at this point in the game, i build a character with similar gear for around 8 million (not including the witching hour which i now have) and that landed me at around 100k dps. I now have 130k dps and am still adding to this build. it is extremely effective

Is knockback any good on archon wizard?

I wonder if I should get it on my off-hand for example.
