Ya it does.

Pick up 2 cheap weps for like 5k with the exact same damage, one with ele dmg and one with black damage. You'll see the difference in damage.

Another question for fellow bear users. I'm currently running with a life steal skorn and it's been working out fairly well... however I'm wondering why so many WD's go for the Manajuma's knife, is there something besides the attack speed I'm missing? It seems like 2h's should trump 1h's for bears always. Thanks!

LS skorn is king imo. I played with a 1h/oh for a while but reflect is terrible for bears - 3% LS isn't enough, and it only gets worse at higher damage. 5+ at least keeps you stable at higher MP, even though you still have to use other sources to stay positive. I've yet to hear a good counter argument that applies to high MP farming or ubers where you can't wipe packs in <5 seconds.

ToTD is the biggest point in favour of 1h knives, but you only need pickup on 1-2 pieces of regular gear to use gravefeast effectively with bears as long as you can eat a few hits.

I've used lots of moves that work just as well.

Plague Bats are VERY strong...if not more damage than zombie bears.

I've wondered about the life steal issue, even with the 5.4 I have on skorn atm reflect on high Mp can be a pain. I guess I'll just stick it out with a 2h since I have plenty of pickup radius on gear. Thanks for the quick reply!

Beside of gems I was thinking of new amu, maybe gloves.

Go for a zuni helm with crit before upgrading your gloves or amulet, they're pretty solid for now.

good cc zuni helm is atm out of my range atm (bout 250mil)
im thinking about zuni offhand though. it would allow me to get tal mask or some other helm.

umm. manajuma 1k+ and any offhand with 8% crit chance and 400+ dps > the dps on skorn. Only thing is u crit harder on skorn but the mobility is like halved the casting animation is super slow. WIth 1 hand u can cast kite cast kite. I use skorn for rds but other then that 1hander and offhand. Plus the stats like int, vit, mana regen etcs are nice.

Good zuni helm is 350-1bil lol. 5-6% crit.

@quicksilver. Trifecta gloves, zuni with crit, 6% lacuni with 9% ais, ammys can go to 100% crit damage i think, and 10 crit chance, I think totd can go over 400 but only low 400's.

mp8 uber farming. 1handers ftw. Skorn is slow mobility and slow to regain mana. Reflect on bears = swap to skorn. for higher mp3s at least. Other then that i do fine in mp7-10 with just 1 hander. Still need to swap 3 more pieces. tal rasha back to zuni with high crit, and uhrpian serpent offhand, and tal rasha chest. And counter argument is easier kiting with higher attack speed. I do agree u need a skorn for rd mobs in higher mp cause u dont' want to throw spiders for 7-9 seconds till u get cd on ur spirit walk.
