Alright well I only farm Act 1 Inferno so far, but I am currently running with this:

The LoH is actually 300 ( I had just equipped a new weapon with a Ruby in it when I screened this ) But thats still a bit lower than I want it.

What you will need is

A) More DPS
More All resist, ( Easily obtained with All resist + * I guess you said you use Cold * Another resist + One with Everything )

You are already using a shield and that's and fine, as do I, however, Its block rate and Block amount are too low, look for one with 25%+ Base block amount, and preferably 2k-3k+ Block amount. You are killing your dps with a slower attack speed, try a high dps dagger or fist weapon. Your dodge chance is very low, but I guess you can work with that if your block is at least 30% ( To get more Dodge, invest in Dex! ) You can also calculate dodge from the Evasion Mantra ( I like Backlash but you can use Hard Target as well if you feel you are low on armor. )

Here on the left i have some weapons and some items that im not sure if they are better or not, and on the right i have my current stats with the equipment in the first pic.

Im at depths act 3, i feel like i would be further if i didnt suck at the game. just looking for some opinions on what to upgrade next, and if anything i have in the third picture would be better then stuff i have equipped from the first picture? also where to go with my build for act 3 inferno, seize the initiative instead of resolve, guardians path? dodge mantra with hard target? healing with time of need? stick with conviction? stick with resolve and trade off cripping wave for keen eye? sss? sweeping winds?

Get at least 5k armor ( use the wizard follower for solo)
Seize the iniciative > resolve
And use sleping wind with cyclone rune instead of clipping wave lol
Try MoE with last rune too

Your stats are fine, almost godly

okay guys i need help ive spent millions on gear an act 3 is still a bitch i use deadly reach also but i just cant farm act 3 with out it taking me hours what is my problem???
any help is appreciated thanks guys

also i use transcendence instead of resovle i like it better could that be a problem? trans-owe-sieze are my passives

Not sure why the Armor in the In Game Details doesn't match the Hero stat screen.... but whatever.

Anyone who is having trouble probably is dual wielding, and I dont feel the damage increase is worth the loss of Blocking ability alltogether. Hell, I have double if not triple the dodge chance of some of the people I see in here, and yet I also have a 30% chance to block about 2.5k-3k of the damage I DONT dodge... I pretty much NEVER die, and on the RARE occasion I WOULD have, NDE saves me.

Couldn't find the answer in this topic so now i will try ask this question

Would monk with sweeping winds benefit more from lifesteal than LoH as sweeping winds ticks fast + aoe?

i know it's reduced on inferno but still would it be benefit more, also i do not have any of those stats on my weapon so i can't really test myself

DPS MONK

I can do Acts 1-3 easily. I solo farm Act 3 with 5 NV stacks.
I kill before getting killed, I know my resists are low but it doesn't matter for my build.
My stream is twitch.tv/wiggles88
I am streaming Act 3 live right now.
I have a 2700 Thorns damage so my DPS is really 40k. I have a crit neck that gets me up to 42k buffed.
Buffs last for 30 seconds and I just refresh them.

My goal right now is to increase my Crit chance to about 30% and my Crit Damage above 300.

best skil setup for monk tank on inferno?

i`m thinking about:

1.mantra evasion - hard target
2. breath of heaven - circle of life

primary- deadly reach - foresight
sec- lashing tail kick - scorpion

5. dashing strike - flying side
6. cyclon strike - implosion

base of my eq is LOH lower dmg atm so ithinking about my skills dmg will never be at great lvl so more important for me is stun and live stealin also i have one important question that?

sweeping wind is working with LOH?
