anyone got a ballpark on how much the zombie dog set costs thinking about going that build and need a set

A shitload, unfortunately. The helm and mojo are both in the 5-10m range (for decent gear), but the jewelry is very expensive and rare - 300-400m if you're impatient. Maybe 100ish if you snipe a good deal.

So I just bought a cold dmg SoJ to go with my build, but was rather disappointed to learn that the supposed cold dmg doesn't actually slow anything...

Am I missing something?

it just increases the cold dmg u already have, it doesn't say it adds cold dmg.

Hard to say because you can't filter specific stats for sojs. Which makes good Zombie Dog CD rings even more rare, and they are quite rare.

What I would do is look around a bit more, see if you can find some people who bought a similar stated soj and find out what they paid. Or just shoot for the stars and price it high (like 200m) just to see if some one is that interested in it.
