I just built a Wiz for 40m without knowing anything about the class. How did I do? Any suggestions? Have about 40m left. I see I'm lacking cc/cd and ls

Pretty decent for 40 mill. I suggest you spend like 10 mill and get 10k boost from a better amulet, also spend 3-4 mill on vile ward shoulders and you are all set for fast arcon farming. Although do change skills.

noob alert-

is there any way to build something like a nova soso from d2? I dont like archon or cm wiz, i would like to spam teleport and cast some sort of nova on arrival. Do i have to go CM build or is there something else for me? I would like to smash mp0 i dont care at all if i instadie on mp3

You can cast wave of force. But really there are just three viable builds: arcon - for solo, cm/ww - melee wiz for solo and groups, hydra/blizzard (or orb) - kiting build.

soj is really bad for cm melee. You are loosing 8-9 ias, 4-6 crit chance, which is a lot of utility for cm/ww build. Don't use it. Get 70+int 9ias 4cc+ ring with some all res on it or some loh or some crit damage, depends on your budget really. Also, 15 apoc is not enough, buy 9+ chantodo's force, or if you upgrade your ring and still reach 2,74 aps in bubble, use crit chance stormcrow. You need to stack a lot of cc for this build to work smoothly, as well as 18+apoc.
