any1 has a good hardcore monk build ? wanna test it out on ptr btw i m kinda new to monks.. :x

Any build works in lower levels really.

High end best is looking like a bell build, I enjoy tempest. Things may change for 2.1.2 still though.

Gems depend. Gogok is nice. Taeguk sometimes. Bane of the powerful. Bane of the trapped if you have control imparing.

As for the next person, not sure about hardcore.

Hey guys, I am very new to Monk so I was just wondering if I could have some pointers. I want to make a lightning Bell monk because it seems fun but I am having trouble with survivability. How do monks usually survive in mobs of elites? Life on hit, replenish, or spirit spent? or do you need all 3? The reason im having trouble is I cant find any guides or anything with this skill, but I can kill stuff fine in T6 so far, just have trouble taking hits.

I tried to copy druins GR46 bell monk without knowing what skills or stats or gear or know how.

Ya it didn't go well... I got smashed on a 38GR. Iunno how he stayed alive or did enough damage because it seems lacking on both.

I can't imagine ancient Parthan defenders are that op for surviving but maybe.

Damage Im not impressed, using the phys bell.

Ancient Parthan defenders give up to 12% damage reduction per mob stunned... insanely OP. It's the only reason Barbs can be in the higher greater rifts.

Still dunno about the damage.

I only feel monks are even a few ranks higher due to density. I think old sunwuko with this density would be higher.

fuck im pissed off. I finally get a decent mob set in a live 37 GR and I get the god damn arcane RG in a fucking hallway.

would have had him with like a minute left, but I had a 1.5 minute walk back.

thats the advantage of hardcore... you dont have to walk back
