Sure... if you consider anything ranged to be the same skill. To give a more helpful answer:
Ranged:
Wiz = Standard ranged blaster, specializing in nukes (Lots of spells that go boom for heavy/aoe damage). Wiz has some utility with the many frost skills, Defense focuses on chilling monsters (or exploding them) before they hit him, or using an armor/nova skill if surrounded.
DH = Bow/Gun Skillshots (Different types of straight line shots with a gimmick, such as seeking out monsters, exploding after a short delay, piercing, etc). Less Defense/Utility than Wiz, relies on movement or a trap/turret skill to get out of harms way.
WD = Summoning spellcaster, with more of a utility focus than Wiz (fearing, cursing, poisoning, etc), along with damage over time. Minions are mainly for defense, at least in Beta.
Melee:
Monk = A ninja assassin and a paladin had a demon-hunting lovechild. D2 assassin combos along with paladin type healing/aura capabilities.
Barbarian = Strong guy. He see monster, he smash monster.
