stormshield sucks for monk... Get a rare sacred shield with dex, All ress, specific ress,vita, life %, block %. and most important crit chance.
You can get 30% block on a sacred shield aswell.

My shield > storm



and there can be way better rolls.

Guys Im doing inferno a3, i can farm everything pretty easy without problem, but any champ with molten+ plague/shielding/fear/frozen rapes me, bascially molten > me
my stats and skills:
around 750 res unbuff
45k hp, 6k armor, 28% crit, 1k loh, 54% dodge, 31k dps
using dual wield.
Skills:
Fot- thunderclap
Sweeping wind- cyclone
heal - +damage
blind - +damage
invul
dodge mantra

the dual wield + dodge passive, resist passive, and dex to armor passive

lmk guys should i get more resist? or what should i change to deal with those packs
I like Fist of thunder, i cant change skill for molten champs cos i will lose valor.
i have tried using my max resist setup with around 1k resist unbuff, 54k hp, with a shield. but my dps dropped so low i cant kill them.

if you brought that crap into late act4 ud get an angel sword shoved so far up your ass

The game has been nerfed... angels dont 1 hit anymore.
Using helm of command I get 26% block chance.
26% chance to block 4700 (max) damage is pretty good.
Please explain to me why a barb shield would be better then this?

It has lower block amount
Can have 4% higher block chance then a sacred shield
It has No dex or very low dex
Resist are lower (70 max) rare can get 70+55-60 max for monks
reduce elite damage is nice and all but 5% isnt really anything special.

aite go fight a molten plagued pack of angels and come back

or better yet go fight marius and come back to me

i had my gear and was farming diablo by may 29th...
infact my gears total cost is prob like 40-50m



edit: and im not saying my monk is GG, im saying he can complete the game. while 99% of monks in this thread are act3 farming monks thinking theyre good.

I've 5 NV'd full-cleared inferno act IV many times with a shield that is half as good as the one refuge posted. Buff jesus is just a tard.
