gokuk is rly bad for that build, because u only get 15ias/ ~5 cdr , and ias is a wortless stat

/E: well i can dumb around ~75-100 spirit per sec, which is obv weaker then the meta build



Have you tried using Incense Torch of the Grand Temple (http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/incense-torch-of-the-grand-temple) and Tzo Krin's Gaze (http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/tzo-krins-gaze)? I used that for a while before I had Flying Dragon. I got a lot of spirit regen and it was awesome to spam bells from long distance. It was fun, but nothing really compares with genwuko for effectiveness.

hey gents,

still getting used to the fact that i have semi relevant gear so bear with the noob questions. just found my first remnaldi's (sp?) gift, the relevant information you need is that this is my monk right now:

1) is this FD good enough to reroll the socket and use the socket bearing item?

2) if so, what should i be looking for? CD? CC? etc...

Well you can't roll cc or cd on a wep. Look for 10% damage or life per spirit spent or life on hit.

That being said Im on my cell phone and I can't see the current stats.

I've used 3 ramalandis on 3 flying dragons

not worthy. your dmg roll on weapon is really low. reroll that and save gift for better weapon

It's probably the second one I've seen ever. But I don't play a ton, so that certainly has something to do with it

lets explain better. your dmg roll is 1228-1564 of maximum possible 1439-1788

normal lvl 70 daibo is 994-1845
if you roll socket to 10 % dmg you will get weapon with 3775,3 dps
if you reroll dmg to lets say realistic 1400-1750 (of maximum stated above) you wil get 3650,3 dps weapon and still have gift

imo weapons with dmg below 1700 max are not worthy of gift

Holding onto a gift forever if you don't find better doesn't help much.

finally have my SW/FD monk up and running - http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/diashi-1868/hero/18583882

waiting to socket FD when I can find a better one.
having no issues surviving in t6 atm.
I am having issues with keeping my spirit up.

Any thoughts on how I can fix this? Or is it that I need to adjust my playstyle?

The idea is to not keep spirit... You want to dump it to proc sunwukos
