depends on how many targets you got. Like 1 target with fewer hitboxes can be permafrozen with 3 asp. Fat guys can be frozen with 2,73 (not with 2,72 - because wind breakpoint is at 2,73 mark). Groups 4+ can be frozen with 2,53 aps. But problem is that really really fat (in terms of hp) mobs get immune to constant nova spams and can unfroze even with 2,73 aps.

Well, I guess that would be a very high dps wizzard with meteor shower/frost hydra combo, with max apoc, high life regen and high loh/leech. You will need cold blooded/illusionist passives and constant kiting/teleporting after taking a single hit. Key would be to regenerate hp to full after that single hit and keep kiting spamming meteor showers and frost hydra that would snare ubers. Still worse than cm/ww.

well, everything is bad, reminds me of myself when I started using cm/ww build. But that was back in the days when wizards rule, now after so many nerfs this build became super expensive. I suggest you build cheap arcon wizzard for that money and speed farm mp1-2. For 20 mill your wiz won't be any good in melee. But if you want to go melee way, try finding cheap chantodo's will (wand) with increased attack speed, you need to get to 2,35 aps using time bubble - that's the minimum.

So all in all, build yourself an arcon wizz for that price, find an amulet with more damage, cheap apoc rare source (even oculus or tal source - they are cheap as dirt now), get your damage to at least 70k, run mp1 with magic weapon - blood magic and other necessary skills. CM/WW is a long and expensive road.

Is it possible to permafreeze with 2.7 unbuffed APS 50 crit chance and only 2 APOC?

the breakpoint is 2,7378 aka 2,74, not 2,73! this is a difference of 3 ticks...



2 apoc wont even get you to freeze anything since your arc is empty after casting tornados

Looking for some advice here. Would I be screwed at MP8 ubers if I give up my Pox? I want to get a decent trifecta ring and replace my Pox. If I do that though, I lose like 124 all resist, and my all resist would be like 600+ instead of 700+. Is that a bad idea?
