you have really really low attack speed, coupled with pretty low life per hit.

Also resolve > dodge passive (more dmg mitigation) and definitely better than transcendence

Been reading most of the stuff, great info... Anyways perhaps i missed something and need some advice for my monk on a budget (as you can see from screenie :)))) )

Anyways, trying DW at the moment, A2 is pretty much doable with the stats i have. What should i focus first in upgrading. Right now i would say that the crappiest stuff i have are the 2 rings (blue with 60 dex, 6 IAS). Whith what should i try to exchange that? And anyways any tips are welcome, thanks guys!

I don't think your rings are really the bottleneck here.
Your atk speed seems to low for the LoH to work propperly.
If that spear you are using is <1.30 atk speed you should try to replace that first.
Also try to stack more ress. ~700 helped me beat the game.

I have 2 questions about monks:

When using 2 weapons, I know that stats and loh matters, but what happens with ias?

The bonus dmg to certain skills is applied on the weapon dmg (like dex does) or in the monk overall dmg (like critical does)

Act 3 struggling a little bit, dont die but shit takes to long to kill what can i do?

I've just recently come into some IGG (2.6m after I sold an amulet on the AH; lucky drop!), and I'm looking to upgrade my Monk. Currently, I am doing rather poor and I'd like to actually be able to go through at least Act 1 with ease, and maybe even be able to survive Act 2. But, I am not sure what priority to give certain items. I've got 2.6m, and I'd be willing to spend it all to do well in Inferno, but I want to know if I should dish out 1m on a good weapon, or if I should try doing an even split between all my item slots.



Do you use Faith in the Light for your Blinding Flash skill rune? And do you use Blazing Wrath for Breath of Heaven? Both can really boost your damage.

Looking for some statistics on Mystic Ally's stats. For inferno is earth ally the only viable choice? I've read that air ally can hold aoe aggro better but other than that doesn't offer much else. What rate do the allies scale with your stats?

I noticed my ally die quite a lot on inferno before I upgraded gear. Now with 1000+ resists and 7000+ armor unbuffed, my ally don't die as easily (me neither).
I've been going for cheap parts with;
dex
vit
single res (focusing on one for all armor pieces, of course)
all res
and armor, going for the highest armor pieces with these stats.

I've noticed the same thing, I'm running the typical keen eye build and found replacing BoH blazing wrath with earth ally to be much more functional, it provides passive dps, a taunt, life % increase and is easily spammable.
