Hui guys, can anyone post best build/gear for a tank? I'm looking to solo act 3/4

get 1500+ life on hit, 1000+ all res, 40k+ life, 20k+ dmg

Thanks, what skills to use? Also are rares the best or are there any legendaries that are best?

a few legendaries can be good depnding on stats. Generally rares are better though.

skills wise people use fist of thunder with thunderclap so you can stay on mobs that try and run away.

Other than that the main ones people use are:
serenity with either heal rune or extra time rune
heal with extra dmg for 45 seconds
dodge mantra with armor rune

anything else is up to you and what you like/need.

Can someone help me out? I'm having a ridiculous amount of trouble getting through a3 w/o being one shot (really just hit at the same time by 5 mobs). I watched a video earlier this week that suggested dw w/ high crit cyclone build but I can't seem to survive any unique pack.

Any ideas? I've spent about 15m so far on my gear.

31k life and 5k armor

use dodge + hard target and you should be good

your dodge seems really low for dual wielding. are you using the dual wield passive? armor also seems low, if thats including the enchantress bonus

and attack speed needs to be higher with only 521 loh imo, but people seem to be all over the place with that and do fine

I actually started off w/ evasion w/ hard target but still got wrecked. i think mostly by phase beasts though. they hit like trucks especially w/ molten or firechain.
I was using transcendence but should i swap it? I don't even build spirit fast enough to dump it on mantra to heal myself.

With your stats and your money you should buy the "_____ skull" ring (forget name lol, just type skull on AH) and buy new amu please blue sucks(with critic + vit + dex + life on hit if possible), also use the DW passive and try to get weapons with same dps you have but with socket ( both) for esmerald 70% crit dmg, and one of them with 700-800 LoH.

If possible try to get some pieces with armor too and a3 will be easy mode :)
