Hex is very useful for ubers. I've also read that the damage bonus from jinx works even if the transform doesn't. I haven't tested this though.

I've been using this: us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/witch-doctor#fbUiYd!aeb!ccZZcc

with LS skorn I don't feel widowmakers gets back enough mana to make it worth sacrificing spider damage because my aps is low. hex is worth it just for ZK but as I said I've heard it does the damage debuff even without polymorph. I may drop soul harvest or dogs for BBV slam dance, but dogs eat a lot of stray shots and SH is still an extra 10% damage buff all the time. probably SH is the weakest.

for ubers ( especially kule ), I love using bears / leaping spiders! I find leaping spiders allows me to flee when low on life :)

worth it to go suicide zombie dogs in 105 mp 5+?

inifinite life heal pretty much, and same damage as zombie bears.

obviously using the 0 cooldown on zombie dog items.

Widowmakers, in terms of mana, they return about 20 mana per jar (if you substract cost of skill), so if you get fast ceremonial knife setup and around 2 attacks per second, it is 40mana/s regen during spam, on top of your regen.
Pretty popular solutions for wd with high attack speed, where they just run out of mana with bears, because of that.

This is what I really like about spiders. Darts technically has higher range and higher damage, but it's not always autohit. With spiders you fling the pot anywhere in the area and they do the rest.

I have a quick question regarding gear choices for acid cloud/rain of toads WD.

I know that at higher monster power levels the GF/GI builds become less valuable, which may make pickup radius a little less desirable. With that said I'm currently using a 1h/toad of the deep and absolutely love the pickup radius for grabbing globes. Everything I've generally read people seem to advise skorn for acidcloud builds, is there really a huge discrepency between 1h/oh and skorn or is it just preference? I'm guessing skorn is better in higher monster levels, and those which you can still run GF/GI the offhand option begins to shine again?

The more time you spend kiting, the more valuable a 2 big damage / low speed 2 hander becomes. You won't be capitalizing on your attack speed in higher MPs since you'll be spending a good bit of your time kiting... so you are better off with a slower, heavier hitting weapon.
