Got some new gears and tested this build against barb.

I find this to be the best build against Barbs.

Stack as much spirit regen as possible. And don't put any attack speed other than Inna pants.

No need high ehp. Just need high dmg with soj. +30k pot bonus.

Run around the map just like barbs with spirit marathon.

Juke barbs to use leap or charge. If you are sure they are on cooldown, engage with blinding flash.

Barbs stack some dodge against blue bells, but with high spirit regen, you WILL have a chance to kill them.

My key stats with this set up:
200k unbuffed dmg with soj & only 9% attack speed
+15 spirit regen
+30k pot bonus
I use doom hammer with 0.9 aps, I'm under 1 aps with this set up.

What should we look for in a rare pvp shield?

nice combination of these

dex/vital/life%/all res/armor/crit chance

my pvp shield is +250dex/+80vital/+15% life/9.5%cc/+300 armor

I've tried a version of this build and it's pretty broken against barbs. This build is really spirit intensive and I realized that a legacy hellcat waistguard is pretty good since it spawns spirit regen. It just costs and arm and a leg

Yep, that belt is almost impossible to get! haha

But it's the best sps belt for monks.

Been loving this build though! Much less stressful build against barb than regular fast DW empowered bell build.

And crafting gets you the best pvp gears. So look out for certain stats when you craft.

Ive saved up shitload of essences to craft some nice pvp gears. Just waiting for next patch to do craft all. Im too lazy.

Some of my current gears are pretty shitty because of that.
