no i mean drop the beam damage from 300% to 200% in favour of a 5second tele. the tele doesn't do 300% damage.
normal tele with calamity does do 265% damage though, i have enough dps to make this kill most act3 trash mobs but this actually defeats the point. I need the trash mobs to not die and hit me to activate either scramble or illusionist. annoying shit lol.

anyway, does anyone know about the functionality of an oculus?

as in,
does the CDR for TP apply once you equip it? (can you swap) -- this one is probably easy to answer. does it show on tooltip?
does the CDR apply AFTER you've already used TP? (requires testing)

for my build i dont see the point in using archon
white mobs die in 1-2 sec regardless so whether using a normal skill or archon makes no diff

elites with archon = 300% dmg + an explosion every 6 sec
elites with my build = 135% spectral blade + 300% explosive blast + 200% hydra

in archon, i click; they die instantly

how many seconds does it take you to cast SB & hydra for each mob?

archon explosion is freaking godly strong. if you get some nice proc-ing, you can do it twice in a row.

Tried a lot of different skill for that last free skill slot and archon explosion is the best imo.

i sometimes 1-shot elite packs.
other times, i 1-shot myself T_T (if they're reflect damage)

vs scary RD packs, i swap to my loh weapon, and cast archon explosion nonstop. declick archon, cast archon. etc.

Yeah I don't see much point in going CM melee once you get past 100k DPS or so. Even if CM melee builds can match the efficiency of archon, it's still more work.
