There should be no need, or requirement, for additional security. Even with this additional security, if your PC is already infected, it won't work. The problem will be compounded once the Real Money Auction House goes live. alot of kids, alot of money, alot of infected PC's or w/e (including possible breaches in security et all)  = alot of unhappy people.


There's no one saying u need the authen. They are telling you for additional security, IF U WANT, use it. I know alot of people who don't use it and haven't been hacked. They also don't buy any gold nor DL anything. Despite what others say about never doing anything they most likely are lieing. If you even visit a site you can DL the malware.

If you do not own any of those phones and have a Windows PC
WinBMA is a Windows based Battle.net Authenticator which allows people who don't have access to a smartphone supported by the official BMA to still be protected by an authenticator.
This will only protect you if you dont have any form of malicious software on computer, for those with keyloggers this will help

ok smokingweed im going to bash one of your points of argument real quick so you learn never to use it again.

If someone hacked into my computer and stole my bank account/cc info that would turn it into a federal crime. Where the federal government would come into play, which means FBI, DOJ and so forth. So for the little chinese farmer whos back dooring his way onto peoples computers he is being smart and only going after D3. If he touched anything else it would become a much bigger problem, well beyond the realm of blizzard.

Yeah good luck getting federal charges in China ?

Have about the same luck as blizzard suing the gold farmers..

Either way, you dont explain why its ONLY d3, and not other virtual games?

I heard smoking weed lead many people to trolling when bored.

At least if the information was right lol. Giving false informations to people is nothing but trolling. And theres actually people scared because they believe your crap.
