Just look at what Diablo 2 has become. bots plainly rule the whole of battle.net
Chat spam bots, game spam bots, farm bots, baalrun/diablo run bots.. the list goes on.


Looking at WoW, there are still spambots there. But compared to Diablo 2,, oh man... there's a HUGE difference.

Ill go into detail.  When a company stops selling there game in mass amounts, they no longer are making decent $$ to support that game, whatever it may be. So charging a small amount every month gives them ability to support it, and solve the problems such as cheaters, viruses, hacks, gold farmers wtf ever...... AND ADD NEW CONTENT, AND FIX THE OLD OFC

I personally also wouldnt want the guild wars approach either,...... coming out with an expansion every time someone cries so they can support there non paying game.

If Diablo 3 is not pay to play, I give it a few months before it turns into the shit hole that d2 did.

Opinions? Flames? Donations ?

Ye ye, i know parfumes doesn't have a montlhy pay to use charge but you get the point..

Besides, i've heard something about the new Battle.Net Account will be the thing you get charged for, so then you will have every game "under" that account, like WoW, D3, D2, SC2 etc and still only pay for the account which would be like 10-15$/month.
Meaning if you only play WoW you will pay the same ammount of money as if you play all their games..
