Why am I dying so easily? And why is my damage so low? I thought I built myself some good stuff here:

how does resolve work exactly?

"Damage you deal reduces enemy damage by 25% for 2.5 seconds."

is this only applicable to an enemy you are damaging? or if you do any damage, are you just reducing all damage to you (like if you are hitting melee guys while archers are shooting at you) by 25%? the tooltip is very vague

Your weapon NEEDS to be at least 750-800 damage. Also, try and look for a shield with 1100+ armor.

The reason you are probably dying so much is your armor is low, your resistance is fine.

Are you using Keen Eye Rune with Evasion mantra for increased armor? If not, use both of them to give a solid boost to your armor and try again.

Will going from 648 to 750 on weapon really make that big of a difference?

And Keen eye rune?

You really grasp for anything as a monk, since you put so much money into defense your DPS suffers. So even a 1k boost in damage will be nice since you attack faster, sweeping wind does more, and your mystic ally will too if you have one. So a 1k boost in damage goes longs ways. And I wouldn't base that damage as how much you are doing, because as I said you have to factor in the 60% sweeping wind and 40% mystic ally attacking by your side.

So I would try to hit 750 damage with same attack speed, and try to throw in some dex. I feel like the item might get quite pricey, but I got an item just as I described, except for the attack speed but with 800 LoH for 3m. And to be honest it COMPLETELY changed how I played act 3. I survived so much more and as I said, the 2k damage increase made the battles so much easier.

In my personal opinion, you can get everything beside your armor for less than 600k each if you look closely. For the weapon, you have to go all out but in the long run it pays off.

Also I suggest the breath of heaven attack damage increase rune, if you aren't used it already.

With what I have. Should I be getting through Act2? Just started and death comes very fast had to stop playing. Are my skills just jacked up?

And you said I put so much into defense and my DPS suffers. How so? I thought I was getting everything. Everything has Dex and life and res and other important stuff. What am I missing for extra DPS?

OMG PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!

I cleared ACT 1 INF with 5 stacks, pretty easy (i had to skip elite with stun) but OMG when i hit ACT 2 I'm getting raped left and right, seriously, i dont know what the hell im doing wrong.
I have around 44K life.
and other stats here, one is with shield, and other is dual wielding, either way im getting raped in ACT 2.
PLEASE give me tips.
