Sadly, monks have to spend even more to be viable since the patch.

DH/Wiz/WD all still do massive amounts of DPS even after this nerf.
Monks already did low dps, and that low number dropped even further...

The main issue is AS. If we want to keep LoH useful, 2.0 AS is best. But the AS nerf made it 2x harder (50-60% nerf) to attain that much attack speed.
I went from 2.10 to 1.60 AS, closer to 70% nerf!! i had AS on rings and weapon, and now i have to dish out multi millions to afford more AS on helm/pants/gloves or boots to get back up to where i already was.
srsly, most moronic patch ever.

It's not even a problem with millions worth of single upgrade...

the REAL problem is ability to search for only 3 mods!!

For example, gloves we now need:
- attack speed
- crit dmg
- crit chance
- single res
- all res
- vita/dex

(there is a whole different problem too. We can have all of those stats at once, but dex/vita will have low roll, because both will be on one stat. So we probably get rid of one of resistances and get higher roll dex)

Now imagine those gloves. Only sensible way to find them is searching for 3 properties and sort by price. Which means we essentially can't hunt good opportunities and need to pay full value, or more like 100x overprice by a moron seller (500 billion price ...)

Don't worry. You'd probably just need to search as, crit dmg, and crit chance. And look for the most expensive buyouts. There won't be many at all with the extra mods.

Don't know about you but I'm more mad at the drop rate than the as not worth going through act III Or IV for the CHANCE to get 60 items >___>

I need help for a gear upgrade here. I have 500k. Also wondering if I should keep the shield or not, because I think the extra 90+ res really helps (the more tricky elite mobs kick my arse as it is), but ideally I'd change to dual wield and Guardian's Path if I had good res on other items.

I don't know what your definition of "crap geared" is, but as I told you already, I made it to Inferno Diablo on about 3 million pre patch.

It's much more a matter of knowing how to play, rather then having all the best items. The difference between a 200k item, and a 2 million item is actually a lot smaller then people think. You can get some pretty awesome Monk items for 200k or less.

Would be great if blizzard added +3 to the search thingy, So it would'nt take hours just going through everything for the stats you want.

Get rid of that spear and find a nice fist/dagger/sword

Is anyone actually still farming A3/A4? With the nerfed drop quality in A3/A4 and repair bills, it seems like a huge waste of time to me.

I'm just leveling alts until Blizzard gets their act together. And if they don't, well, I guess I'm done with this game much sooner than I'd planned.
