Did I once ever mention gems being banned? What I mean by "everyone using the same gems" is for the balancing purposes of LLDing when the patch comes out.

1 guy with 8 radiant stars going against 1 guy with 8 flawless square is not a good testing result. AFTER we test and play alot against each other, THEN we can determine what to allow/ban but when the game comes out, it seems to me that half the people will be geared with radiant star and the other half with flawless square... What I'm saying is make everyone use flawless square FOR NOW and when we know how the duels go, then we can allow them later after.

in order for real testing to be done we must test radiant vs flawless square. and radiant vs radiant. and flawless square vs flawless square.

extensive testing needs to be done in order to say if any tier of gem is unfair.

also with new higher teirs of gems being available drop rates of gems and prices of gems will change

we cannot compare this patch to the next before it is even released.

currently i dont have the bank roll for top tier gems either, but im going to save till i can get some for testing.

IMO the most important part is Lvl restrictions and no acc bound items.

those two things are the only initial problem imo

EXAMPLE: if someone had radiant gems in their gear and u were dueling them, and the 5-0 u.

Simply ask them to take out the gems and replace with lower tiers.

However i dont think personally that most of the gems will make much of a difference when factored into other things

And just because some people can't afford gems and don't want them because of that, is not a valid argument.
As well as those who can afford wanting them, is also not a valid argument because neither of these actually address anything balance wise.

Like sniper said above, it will take a lot of testing with some of us who are willing to put in the time (which i whole-hearitly am) to come to somewhat of a conclusion, then have you all hear us out.

But as for now there is not a single thing that should be getting nerfed, changed, or anything.  There should only be testing, as pvp is still in beta stages.
